These two ads above were recently compared on this website regarding their originality. Personally, I think both of them are much too recent. I mean, this idea must have been used at least a few times before in some form or another, right?
For the fun I’m throwing the current logo of ARS Type into the mix — and I bet the use of this idea goes way back. But as always in advertising (I would like to think), the context is what makes the idea either clever or obvious.
